Current version 2026-05-13. These terms cover publishing content, shared entities, moderation, and platform safety.
Using CrowdCanon
- You are responsible for the lists, comments, messages, and entity submissions you create.
- By publishing user-generated content, you confirm it does not violate our rules or others’ rights.
- We may review, limit, remove, or moderate content to protect users and the integrity of the platform.
Shared entities and consensus data
- Shared entities may be edited by their creator while pending review and by approved owners after approval.
- Admins may merge duplicates, correct metadata, and lock reviewed entities to keep the shared graph clean.
- Public rankings and consensus views may reflect aggregated user activity and moderation outcomes.
Safety and enforcement
- Abuse, spam, impersonation, hateful conduct, and manipulation can lead to content removal or account suspension.
- We provide reporting, blocking, and moderation tools, and we may investigate suspected misuse.
- Direct messages are part of the product and are subject to the same safety standards as public content.
